Flyover |

Flyround |
These two Terragen animations were made using the Terragen script feature. They show two flypasts, from the same starting position to the same ending position. Flyover was done in one script so that the line of flight went as the crow flies. Flyround was made with a series of scripts, joined together before rendering, in which the camera position was moved gradually around the edge of the terrain, to give a more distant flypast circling the island.

Flyacross |

Flypast
|
The animation on the left keeps the target position in the centre of the line of flight, so that the first half of the flight is towards the target, and after it passes it, the line of flight is backing away from it.
In the one on the right, a sunset flypast of the same terrain, the target position also moves, keeping the same distance ahead of the camera position, so the effect is to fly straight over the scenery.
